You’ll get the pleasure of riding in a private hot tub boat as you soak in the skyline. Plus, wind your way down the Hudson River until you reach the Little Red Lighthouse.

You’ll be able to take Instagram-worthy snaps of this historic spot tucked beneath the towering George Washington Bridge.

Therefore, whether you’re looking for a romantic escape or stunning views, our relaxing cruise will introduce you to a side of Manhattan that few ever see.

What You’ll See on the Cruise

Take in one of the city’s most charming waterfront landmarks as you pass by the Little Red Lighthouse. You also gain up-close views of George Washington Bridge on this boat tour, including its massive steel towers.

You’ll be treated to panoramic views of Manhattan’s West Side, the Hudson River, and the New Jersey Palisades. See the many piers, riverside parks, and sailboats as you drift past them.

Even better, you’re invited to check out the twinkling city lights and golden sunset reflections as evening begins.

Why Choose a Hot Tub Boat?

Choose our Hudson River hot tub boat and relax in the bubbles with up to 20 of your closest friends.

Don’t worry about the time of year, either. Our heated hot tubs offer year-round comfort, regardless of whether it’s winter or summer.

To make things even more exciting, our boat is BYOB-friendly. In other words, you’re welcome to bring beer, wine, champagne, or hard seltzer on board. However, due to the sensitive water equipment, please leave snacks back on land.

Kick back and unwind as the steam lulls you into a state of ultimate relaxation. Take advantage of our Bluetooth speakers to personalize your trip with your favorite music. You’re welcome to take in the NYC energy and gorgeous skyline without joining the crowds.

About the Little Red Lighthouse

The Little Red Lighthouse serves as NYC’s sole remaining lighthouse. It was originally built in 1880. By 1921, it was moved to Jeffery’s Hook.

However, a mere 10 years later, George Washington Bridge was completed. Sadly, the bridge completely overwhelmed the lighthouse, and it was set to be demolished by 1951. Fortunately, the lighthouse was commemorated in the popular children’s book entitled The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge
Released in 1942, the book inspired thousands of children nationwide to try to save The Little Red Lighthouse. Their efforts worked, and ownership was transferred to the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

They were able to save the lighthouse and, by doing so, created a tourist hotspot. It was even the inspiration behind “The Lighthouse” episode of How I Met Your Mother.

This beloved city landmark stands tall and is best viewed from the water. After all, the contrast of vibrant red versus the water really makes it pop. In fact, taking our Little Red Lighthouse boat cruise offers the best views.

Also, the lighthouse is closed to visitors as of October 2025, which makes our hot tub boat tour even more important.

How the Cruise Works

Our tour departs from Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, NJ. We’ll travel on the Hudson River and head north toward George Washington Bridge. Meanwhile, you and your friends can climb into the relaxing waters of one of our two hot tubs. You can book both hot tubs for a total of 20 passengers, which gives you a private 90-minute cruise. You’ll be taken past Manhattan’s Upper West Side landmarks, including:

  • Brooklyn Bridge
  • George Washington Bridge
  • Little Red Lighthouse
  • Statue of Liberty
  • Governors Island
  • Battery City Park
  • And much more!

Your USCG Master Captain handles the navigation, so you just need to relax, sit back, and enjoy the bubbles. Choose from a daytime, sunset, or evening departure. This hot tub cruise is ideal for date nights, engagements, birthdays, or weekend group outings.
