What You’ll See on This Scenic Cruise
The sweeping double-deck Verrazzano-Narrow Bridge is only one of the many sights you’ll see aboard the New York Harbor hot tub cruise. About the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
The stunning bridge was named after Italian explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, who was the first European to enter New York Harbor. It took five years for construction to be completed. Once it opened in 1964, it was the world’s longest suspension bridge. It held this honor until 1981.
As a defining feature of the New York Harbor skyline, this Verrazzano-Narrows bridge cruise showcases the importance of this landmark. It’s famously known for being NYC Marathon’s starting point. The bridge’s iconic towers are an impressive 693 feet tall, with the main span being 4,260 feet.
How the Cruise Works
We launch into the Hudson River from just across the state line in New Jersey. Then, we’ll head south to access New York Harbor. Our Statue of Liberty and Verrazzano Bridge boat tour goes right past Lower Manhattan and Lady Liberty before reaching the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.
This private 90-minute experience leaves several times a day. Therefore, you’ll have the choice between daytime, sunset or an evening cruise. Your Master Captain handles the navigation and can also share local stories with you. Meanwhile, you’ll be relaxing in the hot tub.
